Lieutenant Versagli became an officer with the New Garden Township Police Department (currently Southern Chester County Regional Police Department) in December 2011 when he was assigned to the patrol division.
He was promoted to the rank of Corporal in 2015 and was assigned to A Platoon as the Patrol Supervisor. Lt Versagli has received recognition for DUI enforcement from MADD from 2012 through 2015 for arrests of drivers impaired by alcohol and narcotics and is the first recipient of the department's Lifetime DUI Award.
Lt. Versagli is a National Rifle Association-certified handgun and shotgun instructor along with a tactical handgun and patrol rifle instructor. Lt. Versagli is also the department's Range Master, where he is responsible for maintaining the New Garden Township firing range. Lt. Versagli completed a course as an AR-15 armorer and is also a Glock Certified Armorer.
In December of 2022, Lt. Versagli was named Acting Lieutenant and was officially promoted on July 13, 2023.
When not on duty, Lt. Versagli enjoys spending time with his family, and friends, automotive work, and woodworking.
