Officer Busam graduated from the Delaware County Police Academy in 2006. He started his career with the Delaware County Park Police as a full-time officer while working part-time with the Lower Chi Chester Township Police Department. In 2008, he accepted a full-time position with the Temple University Police Department and part-time with the Bethel Township Police Department, and the Southern Chester County Regional Police Department. He currently is a Taser Instructor and a certified Police Mountain Bike Patrol Officer. Prior to his law enforcement career, Officer Busam worked as an Emergency Medical Technician and volunteered as a firefighter. He has received many commendations for criminal arrests with his biggest accomplishment being delivering a baby in the back seat of a car on Broad Street in Philadelphia. Officer Busam looks forward to working with residents and business owners in the Southern Chester County Regional Police jurisdiction.
