Ride-Along/With a Police Officer

Upon request, the Southern Chester County Regional Police Department will permit an adult with an interest in law enforcement to perform a ride-along with a police officer. To begin the process, stop in at our office or click on the attached Ride-Along form. Your request must be accompanied by a waiver of liability and signed acknowledgments. The ride-along event will only be scheduled after a review and approval by the Chief of Police.

Guest Speakers/Requests

With a minimum 14-day notice, the police department will provide a police officer to speak at your meeting on a public safety topic.

Building Tours and Static Displays

Upon request, the Southern Chester County Police Department will conduct a building tour and/or static display of police equipment for youth or adult groups. To schedule, please contact the Chief of Police at 610-268-2907, ext. 105.

Community Appearances

If you have a community event where you would like a police officer to make an appearance, please contact the Chief of Police at 610-268-2907, ext. 102. Depending on staffing levels and other factors the police department will take your request into consideration and try to assist.

National Take-Back Initiative

The Southern Chester County Police Department partners with our Federal stakeholders, the Drug Enforcement Administration in their effort to take back prescription drugs. The National Prescription Drug Take-Back Day aims to provide a safe, convenient, and responsible means of disposal, while also educating the general public about the potential for abuse of these medications. Check the DEA website or our calendar for upcoming dates.
