With summer rapidly coming to an end, we are beginning our 2024 paving program.  We are expecting to spend over $1.4 million on our paving program this year which will treat about 3.75 miles.  

The tentative schedule (weather permitting) for paving will be as follows:

***Paving work will continue today with surface milling on Kelleher Drive. ***

July 25th - Surface milling on Bevan Blvd., Ronway Dr., and Delaware Cir.

July 26th - Surface milling on Bevan Blvd., Ronway Dr., and Delaware Cir.

July 29th - Surface milling on Kelleher Dr.

July 30th – Surface milling on Pemberton Rd.  

July 31st – Paving on Bevan Blvd., Ronway Dr., and Delaware Cir. July 31st - Surface milling on Starr Road between Ellicott and Penn Green Roads

August 1st – Paving on Bevan Blvd., Ronway Dr., and Delaware Cir.

August 1st - Surface milling on Starr Road between Ellicott and Penn Green Roads (if needed)                      

August 2nd – Paving on Kelleher Dr.

August 7th – Widening and base repair on Pemberton Rd between Cedar Spring and Bancroft Roads

August 8th – Widening and base repair on Pemberton Rd between Cedar Spring and Bancroft Roads

August 9th – Widening and base repair on Starr Rd between Ellicott and Penn Green Roads

August 12th – Widening and base repair on Starr Rd between Ellicott and Penn Green Roads

August 13th – Leveling course on Pemberton Rd. between Cedar Spring and Bancroft Roads

August 14th – Paving on Pemberton Rd. between Cedar Spring and Bancroft Roads

August 15th – Paving on Starr Road between Ellicott and Penn Green Roads

The work will generally take place between 6:30am and 6:30pm and each road section will be closed to through traffic.  Residents and local deliveries will be able to access properties within the work zones but through traffic will need to seek alternate routes of travel. 

Please obey all signage during the work.  We will do our best to have flaggers at intersections to aid everyone in getting to where they need to go with minimal inconvenience.
