Dear New Garden Township Residents and Park Visitors,

We are excited to announce a new policy that will help us keep our parks and open spaces clean and beautiful for everyone to enjoy. Our new Carry In, Carry Out ordinance was approved during the April 22 Board of Supervisors Meeting. Starting immediately, all New Garden Township parks and open space areas will follow a Carry In, Carry Out trash policy.

As park patrons, it is now your responsibility to carry out any trash generated during your visit. This includes any litter, trash, recyclables, and pet waste. We encourage you to be mindful of your impact on our natural resources.

You’ll start to see trash cans removed from New Garden Park during the week of May 13. Trash cans will no longer be provided within the parks. Instead, we ask that you take your waste with you when you leave. Let’s work together to keep our parks clean and green!

Remember, our parks belong to all of us, and it’s our collective responsibility to care for them. Let’s work together to preserve these natural spaces for generations to come!
