This morning, at the recommendation of the State District Forester and Department of Emergency Services, the Chester County Commissioners extended the current burn ban for an additional 30 days. The ban is now in effect until December 26, 2024.
This extension is crucial to ensure the safety of our community and reduce the risk of wildfires. The burn ban prohibits all outdoor burning, including campfires, bonfires, and the burning of trash or yard debris.
